Another dad mansplained birth pain, told me that pain relief should be mandatory for all births and speculated that I had a “giant box”. But that is not even the part of the story that bothered me the most.

We had our local Christmas party over the weekend, and it was a beautiful day, we had a neighbourhood Father Christmas giving out presents to the kids, delicious food and of course, the champagne was flowing.

One of the dads had been at another function first and let’s just say the champagne had been flowing a lot longer and more frequently where he had been.

He works in the medical industry and I overheard him talking to a group of men about birth pain. Naturally, this piqued my interest, I love nothing more than a good old fashioned mansplain.
